Scene Styles presents What Makes You Scene
In this post you will get familiar with the basics of how to become true Scene Boy/Girl.

Scene girls fashion varies from ripped stockings to tiaras, 80s band T-shirt and leopard print is also a must.
Black colored choppy hair and thick eyeliner are also very important.
True Scene Girl

- Scene Kid should have myspace account

- Scene Boys should wear pair of girl’s jeans (as much tight as possible).

- It should take around 2 hours a day for a Scene Kid to sort his/her’s image for a day in the skate park or shopping mall.

- Scene Kids and Emo kids don’t like each others, because Emo Kids belive that Scene Kids have stolen their style. But Scene Kids say they are much different than Emo Kids, who’re supposed to be shy, emotional and depressed.

- Scene Kids should be very confident, easy going and not shy.
Scene Kids listen to the music played in 80s and 90s when Scene kids were not even born.

*goth* - Someone who likes the darker side of things. They usually listen to rock and metal music. Goths are fun to be around and aren't afraid to laugh at themselves every so often. They don't worship Satan and aren't evil despite what some ignorant people might say. Goths don't all dress alike either. They like to create their own unique style. Goths are also very intelligent and creative. A lot of them are writers and artists. Goths DON'T envy the popular people. They are what they are because it makes them happy. Goths would rather stay who they are and be among the so called "freaks" than be like everyone else and be popular. They understand that there are more important things in life than popularity, and usually succeed in life while the popular ones don't become much of anything.

*emo* - emo is short for EMOtional. it started as a music genre that came from punk but was more sensitive and emotional called emotive hardcore or emocore, but it evolved into fashion and a whole lifestyle and stereotype. emo kids are usually very sensitive, once again, emotional, creative, artistic, and quiet. they usually dress in mostly black and other dark colors like navy blue and dark green (the girls that are labeled emo but wear bright colors and dress like a little kid are scene which is like emo+prep). emos usually have facial piercings, especially lip rings. emo hair is usually short and covers one eye a common misconception is that emo means you cut yourself. IT DOESN'T!!! Not all emos cut themselves and not everyone that cuts themselve s is emo. p.s. Emos listen to screamo, not goths. I wish people would stop using the word emo like it's a synonym for depressed. That makes me so mad at times!

Emos and scene kids are NOT the same. It's true that emo focuses more on music and scene more on fashion. I'm not saying that in a judgemental way, so don't misunderstand me. In general you could say scene is more vibrant and emo is deeper.

How much time you spend on your clothes and makeup is up to you, I guess... But I can imagine that the scene look isn't done in like five minutes.

Thats retarded, you spend as much time as you need on your hair until it satisfies YOU. If it gets done in 5 mintues..Damn your lucky.. If it gets done in 3 hours..At least it looks AMAZING :D

Emo isnt ALL about the music And scene isnt ALL about the fashion Yea thats what theyre based on but seriously emo and scene kids are truly amazing people They choise their style for diff reasons
Emo: Mabey they chose the style cuz they feel they fit in there and nowhere else mabey its because they have problems in their lives and act a little emotional so people categorize them as "Emo" Whatever reason Their emo and so you just have to deal no matter how much you dont like them
Scene: Like emo kids mabey they are scene cuz they dress AMAZING and in vibrant colors cuz they like it and people catergorize them as "Scene" or mabey their just wannabees
Whatever the reason they are who they are and if their really JUST wannabees take them under your wing..be nice..Help them to become more likable so they dont feel terribly wannabee-ish :]
And if YOU HATE EMO/SCENE KIDS
then keep it to yourself.. Dont be a hater cuz then youll look Jealous and you probably are e.o
but anyway..
Emo kids are awesome and they are nice kids once you get to know them..but you usually dont cuz you think their depressed all the time..WELL THEYRE NOT! They just have a hard time trusting the right people sometimes..Take your time to get to know them and be friends TRUST ME you wont regret it
And as for scene kids.THE SAME
They are truly awesome people too :] They may not like the same things you do but

(And im not scene or emo .. i mean mabey youd categorize me as one of them but i have my own personality and [this is probably the longest comment ever] stuff i guess i do tend to dress like them and i have the hair so mabey..NAH! im myself im not emo jot scene just 100% ME! )

Not all "scene" people listen to music in the 80's & 90's, eyeliner is not a "HAVE TO WEAR EVERY FREAKING DAY BECOS IM SCENE".
