Scene Queens Rules

Scene Styles: Scene Queens Rules!!

Scene Queens, popular socialites and a chick that rises up above the rest of the scene kids out there, and in particular, the scene girls.
Scene queens wear make up and lots of it. Brands must be reputable, and among the most important, lipstick, foundation, eye shadow, eyeliner and blusher are the basics for being a scene queen. As well as the lots of make up, scene queens must have cool hair, the crazier, the colorful, the better!

Get some mad, colored extensions, anything really that stands out from the crowd. Scene queens must start a new trend, whether it be a crazy style of clothes or a random collections of styles, you must be different and you must be above the rest! The right clothes are important, brands are essential, and name drop about brand named clothes a lot!

A scene queen must have a scene king. It is very important that you have a relationship with someone as eccentric and cool as you, and when your scene king goes down in the scene ranks, get a better one! You and your scene king must appear at sociable events, the more the better, and festivals are a definite winner!

Use scene language. No scene queens would be seen using non-cool lingo, but keep this to talking to fellow scene chicks, your mother doesn’t count!
Be online and be fabulous! Post a brilliant picture on your social networking site, and get networking!

Are these rules some kind of joke? Are people really that pompous? How vain are you? God, those "rules" are the most arrogant, egotistical crap I've ever read.

That holds true with any subculture one dabbles in.
And to be a "famous" queen, you really do have to follow these rules. Think of them more as guidelines.

Stupidest shit ever. Just be yourself and if you like the scene look (which is all it is) then good for you, but don't let it consume you for the love of Christ.

i agree with people's comments...all the things you said are kinda superficial...i have a scene style but that doesn't mean that i have to be shallow and arrogant towards people...I'm the only one of my friends' group who has this specific "scene" look...i don't like stereotypes that say: "oh you have this specific style, you have to form relationships with people who belong in your "category"..." and i say of course no...this is bullshit...i don't understand why the hell people love putting labels...-.-

this is the stupidest advice i've ever read. it shouldn't be a label, it should be how you are. you dont need a scene king, you might want a nice guy to stand by you. and you dont drop him for "going down in rankings". i think you should just be yourself and you shouldnt have to keep up a "perfect image" theres no such thing. not putting anybody down but we all have at least one flaw. so dont be ashamed of it, use it to your advantage.
