Skater Scene Hairstyles

Skater Scene Hairstyles - Summer Fall 2009 Edition

Skaters normally have a variety of hairstyles, due to the fact that many skaters often lead different lives than just what is seen on the skating scene. However, the skater scene offers a few variances on emo type hairstyles for the norm.

Skater Scene Hairstyles

Long hair on females is normally not seen, as it is worn under caps or beanies. But long hair is a general scene fashion statement, and is normally dyed. Males are also known to wear their hair long, or to the shoulders, but no longer. ‘Shag’ haircuts are common in the skater scene, and fringe as well as straightened bangs is considered the highest fashion with skaters of all ages.
Males with short hair can be found on the skater scene, but rarely with a buzz or military style cut, as this is not a normal skater cut. Short hair is more or less confined to new skaters, or those that are not on the scene as skaters, but simply as ‘posers’.

Asian Version Of Scene Hair

Medium length hair on males and females is the most popular cut. This makes for ease of care and styling, as well as a statement towards the fashions of skaters everywhere. Skaters on the scene also have what is called skater emo styles. This includes straight or wavy hair that is at longest, shoulder length on both sexes. Differing colors are found and acceptable, as long as mega product is used to keep it in place. With all the emo styles found in skater scenes, it may be hard to choose just one.

Skating is a sport, not a fashion. Plenty of normals kids i know skate, have been for years, and are good at it, without shitty scene hair.

skaters dont take this ignorant bitch seriously. though we may not notice it skating is all about fashion. remember the early 90's when everyone was buying size 40+ jeans then cutting them to almost capri length and every one was wearing baggy ass shirts. then from 1995-2004 skaters just wore normal sized clothes unless you were like biebel or muska or stevie. then once baker 3g dropped every one started buying tight ass pants and scene faggots started biting our style.
